Aurora Man Convicted Of Sexually Abusing Child
He faces a sentence of up to 67 years in prison.

AURORA, IL --- An Aurora man faces a prison sentence of up to 67 years for sexually assaulting a child he knew. Narciso Gatica, 59, of the 300 block of State Street, was found guilty Tuesday of predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse against a child.
According to Kane County State's Attorney's Office, the child was younger than 13 years old when the abuse began in 2013. Gatica was convicted of sexually assaulting and abusing the child until 2017.
Gatica, who is currently being held in Kane County Jail on $250,000 bond, is set to appear in court for sentencing on Dec. 27. He must also register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
