Aurora Man Treated For Bullet Graze — Or Was It A Scrape?: Cops
Police say no one in the area reported hearing shots fired and that there were no signs of a crime scene.

AURORA, IL — Police in Aurora are investigating the circumstances that led a man to show up at a local hospital with a graze-type injury that he claimed was from gunfire directed at him. The man, 33, arrived at the hospital around 10:30 p.m. Friday saying a bullet grazed him on the calf after he dove for cover from "multiple gunshots," police say.
According to police, the victim said the incident took place near the intersection of Superior and Loucks. Police say they didn't get any reports of shots fired in that area and that some residents who live nearby said they did not hear any gunshots.
Police investigated the area, but say they found no evidence of a crime scene. The victim was unable to provide information about a suspect.

According to medical professionals on staff at the time of the man's arrival, his would may have been caused by a gunshot or could have been an injury sustained while he dove for cover.
