Aurora Police To Enforce Ticketing On Route 59 Tuesday

Through the initiative, officers will issue citations for speeding, traffic light, distracted driving and seat belt violations.

AURORA, IL — Aurora police will step up enforcement Tuesday, targeting Route 59 traffic, officials announced.

"Did you pick up on that? 5/9 on 59," reads a Facebook post from the Aurora Police Department.

Officers will ticket speeding, traffic light and distracted driving violations while also keeping an eye out for improper seat belt usage.
