Aurora Police Grow Beards, Raise $7K For Pancreatic Cancer
The money was raised in memory of late Sergeant Don Corp.

AURORA, IL --- Aurora police got a little scruffy for a good cause when they stopped shaving their beards to raise money for pancreatic cancer research. The officers raised more than $7,300 during this year's campaign and plan to donate the funds to Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
This marks the third year that Aurora police officers participated in the campaign in memory of late Sergeant Don Corp, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2016. Each year, one bearded officer is also selected to win a special award in Corp's memory. This year, the Don Corp Award went to Officer Tyler Reeder for the "best-looking beard."
