AURORA, IL — Aurora youth and police officers are going to get together at Meijer tomorrow morning for the department's annual "Shop with a Cop."

The event pairs officers with children to help them shop for gifts during the holiday season.

Through the effort, police aim to foster positive interactions with underprivileged children and teenagers. The kids participating are those who don't typically have the resources to buy or receive Christmas gifts, officials said.
