Aurora Reschedules 4th Of July Fireworks Show: See When
Severe storms and concerns for locals' safety prompted Aurora to reschedule its fireworks display in celebration of Independence Day.
AURORA, IL — Severe storms over the weekend put a damper on Aurora's Independence Day fireworks show, but only briefly. The city announced it rescheduled its July 3 show for July 10.
The City of Aurora cited severe storms, more forecast inclement weather and conversations with the police and fire departments as the reason for the date switch.
The show will take place at RiverEdge Park and McCullough Park as originally intended.
