Aurora Teacher Charged With Sexually Abusing 8-Year-Olds
The 58-year-old teacher is currently in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
AURORA, IL -- An Aurora teacher has been accused of sexually abusing two 8-year-old children. Luis R. Mora, 58, of the 1500 block of Golden Oaks Parkway, was charged with two felony counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in connection with the incidents.
According to the Kane County State's Attorney's Office, Mora sexually abused the two children, whom he knows, between August 2018 and May 2019.
He is currently being held in Kane County Jail on $75,000 bail. If Mora is able to post bond, he must surrender his passport and will be prohibited from having contact with children who are younger than 14 years old.

Mora's case is still under investigation. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Kane County Child Advocacy Center at 630-208-5160.
