Aurora Woman, 25, Charged With Dragging Child By Hair At Hospital
Police say the woman also pinched the child before dragging him by the hair.

AURORA, IL --- An Aurora woman faces felony charges after she was accused of pinching a five-year-old child and dragging him by the hair in an incident that police say was caught on video at Rush Copley Medical Center. Tanye M. McNeal, of the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue has been charged with three felony counts of aggravated battery and three misdemeanor counts of domestic battery in connection with the Jan. 14 incident.
Police say McNeal is related to the child, but will not disclose the nature of their relationship.
According to police, a 28-year-old Wisconsin woman videotaped the alleged incident and contacted Aurora police. McNeal also held the child down on a chair and pinched his neck, causing bruising, police say charging documents indicate.

The investigation into McNeal's case is ongoing with the assistance of DCFS and the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office. The child and another boy, 2, who is also related to McNeal, were placed in the care of a relative.
