Aurora's The Venue Announces Outdoor Summer Shows

The Venue is hosting the two shows in celebration of its seventh anniversary.

AURORA, IL — The Venue will celebrate its seventh anniversary with two outdoor concerts at the end of June.

The live music space, located at 21 S. Broadway, lined up Chicago Farmer and The Fieldnotes for 8 p.m. June 26 and Music of Laurel Canyon for 4 p.m. June 28. Both shows will be held at the adjacent Mundy Park, rain or shine.

Chicago Farmer, also known as singer-songwriter Cody Diekhoff, pulls inspiration from John Prine along with the spirit of Americana and the Midwest. His uplifting, introspective melodies have a multi-generational appeal to them, organizers said in a news release. The Fieldnotes is his touring band.
