Badly Decomposing Body Identified As Missing Aurora Teen
A cleaning crew found the teen's remains on Friday.

AURORA, IL — Badly decomposing remains found by a cleaning crew on Friday have been identified as those of an Aurora teenager. Using dental records, Kane County Coroner Rob Russell identified the body as Brandon E. Page, 18, of the 1000 block of Maple St. in unincorporated Aurora. A cleaning crew getting a vacant home in the 800 block of Second Avenue ready for a new buyer found Page's body in the garage early Friday, police said.
Page was reported missing out of Kane County last month, police said, although a public Facebook post made by a relative indicated he left home on May 3. "He has not been seen or heard from since," the post said, adding the teen had "many health problems."
Russell conducted an autopsy on Monday. Page's cause of death is pending the results of toxicology tests, according to officials. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
