Chicago Dutch Lions FC's First Pitch at the Kane County Cougars Game
The first pitch was thrown by Tasker Wheeler and Molly Fischer on June 9, at Northwestern Medicine Field in Geneva.
Chicago Dutch Lions FC, a local semi-professional soccer team that plays at Aurora University’s Spartan Stadium, threw out the first pitch at the Kane County Cougars game on Friday, June 9, at Northwestern Medicine Field in Geneva.
The first pitch was thrown by Tasker Wheeler, a Chicago Dutch Lions FC men’s team player, and Molly Fischer, Chicago Dutch Lions FC women’s team and Orland Park resident.

The Chicago Dutch Lions FC men’s team is led by head coach Enzo Fuschino and assistant coach Dimitri Tsoukalas. “This summer we’re expecting some amazing games from our roster of players. We’re playing some great teams which should be great competition for Chicago Dutch Lions,” says Coach Enzo. The team will feature players from nearby neighborhoods, including Aurora, Naperville, Bartett, Aurora, Geneva, South Elgin, Arlington Heights, Wheaton and more. This year, the Chicago Dutch Lions women’s team will be led by Coach Dan Cross and assistant coach Carson Davenport. Prior to joining the Chicago Dutch Lions, Cross served as a soccer coach at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL. “I’m very excited about this season for the Chicago Dutch Lions.
