Child, 5, Allegedly Dragged By Hair In Aurora: Cops

AURORA, IL --- The Aurora Police Department has launched an investigation after a video allegedly showed a five-year-old child being dragged by their hair by a woman at a local hospital. Police say two children with relatives after the incident which took place Monday afternoon.

Aurora police were called to Rush Copley Medical Center around 4:40 p.m. after a woman reportedly recorded another woman "dragging a five-year-old child by his hair." Police say the video was posted to social media, but has since been removed.

The five-year-old child and a two-year-old were taken into the care of relatives after police identified the parties in the video. No charges have been filed at press time as the investigation is ongoing.
