Concert To Benefit Families Of Aurora Shooting Victims
100 percent of the funds will be donated to help wounded officers and families of the Aurora shooting victims.

AURORA, IL -- Aurora fire and police officers rushed into danger when they responded to Friday's fatal shooting at Henry Pratt Manufacturing, but they aren't done helping those in need. The Aurora Fire and Police Departments have joined forces to sponsor a benefit concert to help aid families of the shooting victims on Feb. 24.
Organizers said online that 100 percent of the proceeds from the Aurora Strong Benefit Concert will be donated to help families of the Henry Pratt shooting victims and wounded police officers.
The benefit concert, which runs from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., will feature two floors of live music, with performances by the McNulty Irish Dancers, Cadillac Groove, Hix Bros. Ukulele Band, and more. The Knights of Ballydoyle Honor Guard will also perform a special drill to pay tribute to those slain in the shooting.

An Irish buffet will be available to those who attend, along with whiskey, wine, an Guinness tastings throughout the day. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase as well.
Several children's activities are also planned for the event, including face painting and balloon sculpting.
