Downed Wires In Aurora: Commuters Should Use Alternate Routes, PD Says
A portion of East Indian Trail Road is closed as of 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to Aurora police.
AURORA, IL — Electric wires are down on East Indian Trail Road near the intersection with Aurora Avenue Tuesday morning, according to police.
As a result, the eastbound lanes of East Indian Trail Road are closed, officials said in an alert posted on Facebook around 8:30 a.m.
Police, who are currently on the scene, are asking commuters to use alternate routes until the roadway reopens.
