Ecstasy, Heroin, Cars Seized In Aurora: Police

Cops seized 29 ecstasy pills, nearly 8 grams of heroin, and cash.

AURORA, IL --- Aurora police seized heroin, ecstasy, a gun, two cars, and $1000 cash in a recent drug bust on the city's east side. Samuel U. Jones, 45, of the 100 block of N. Farnsworth, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, armed violence, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon in connection with the incident.

On Nov. 29, Aurora police and K-9 units executed a search warrant and allegedly seized the following items:

  • Two cars
  • A handgun
  • Nearly 8 grams of heroin
  • 29 ecstasy pills
  • More than $1,000 in cash

Jones is currently being held in Kane County Jail on $200,000 bail.
