AURORA, IL — Almost two weeks after a 28-year-old man went missing from an Aurora hospital March 17, police said they located him Saturday.
The search began when officers were called to AMITA Health Mercy Medical Center after a man was seen leaving the emergency room. The man was admitted to a mental health facility "under an involuntary petition," according to police.
Officials said he was not in police custody or brought to the hospital "under the authority of a police officer."
