Fatal Shooting On Lincoln Avenue Under Investigation In Aurora
Police say a man was found fatally shot inside of his car.

AURORA, IL — Police in Aurora are investigating a shooting that left one man dead in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue early Monday. The man was found in his car with a gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene, Aurora Police Department spokesperson Paris Lewbel said in a press release.
According to Lewbel, police got several calls reporting shots fired at the scene just before 1:45 a.m. After police found the victim, they canvassed the area and interviewed witnesses.
No suspects are currently in custody.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Aurora Police Department's investigations division at 630-256-5500. Residents can also leave anonymous tips with Aurora Area Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000.
Tips left with Crime Stoppers are eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
