Fox Camps Out On Squad Car In Aurora
That's something you don't see every day, even if you live by the Fox River.
AURORA, IL — Aurora police are known for keeping an eye out for perpetrators, so they had to think quickly when they spotted an unknown suspect atop one of their new squad cars, especially because that suspect was a fox.
A quick-thinking staff member grabbed a camera and caught the perp in the act, snapping a pic of the fox as it perched atop a Police Utility Interceptor at the police department's central garage. In the July 17 image, the fox appears alert and curious, yet comfortable.
Maybe he was hoping to get invited for a ride-along.
