Fugitive Apprehended By U.S. Marshals In Aurora

Police say he has been a fugitive since Sept. 28.

AURORA, IL — U.S. Marshals apprehended a fugitive in Aurora Wednesday who was wanted on charges of failing to register as a violent offender against youth. Patrick Carter, 49, of the 200 block of N. Sumner Ave., had been a fugitive from police since Sept. 28, according to a press release.

Kendall County Sheriff's Office said Carter was taken into custody with the help of the U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Residents are reminded to contact Kendall County Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999 if they believe they know the whereabouts of a fugitive listed on the county sheriff's Facebook page or elsewhere.
