GoFundMe Started For Aurora Family Ambushed In Mexico
Jose Luis Guttierez, 52, his daughter, Sofia, 19, and his father Jose Jesus, 81, are still recovering from the attack.
AURORA, IL -- An Aurora family is asking the public for help in the wake of a December attack in Zacatecas, Mexico. The attack left Jose Luis Guttierez, 52, shot and badly beaten. His 19-year-old daughter, Sofia and his father, Jose Jesus, 81, were also attacked and robbed during the ambush.
The GoFundMe was started by Jose's daugther, Dany, to help the family with medical expenses as Jose Luis, Sofia and Jose Jesus. In the GoFundMe post, Dany wrote that the three were still recovering in Zacatecas.
She added, "Thank you for your generosity and God bless you."
