The North Aurora Police Department is trying to identify two people who were seen in the area after a home was hit by bullets Saturday.
NORTH AURORA, IL — North Aurora police are asking for residents’ help as they investigate reports of shots fired early Saturday morning. The department is trying to identify two people who were seen in the area after a home was hit by two bullets. No one in the home was injured during the shooting, police say.
Officers were called to the area of State Street at Chantilly Lane just before 4 a.m. Saturday for reported gunshots, according to a news release. Witnesses told police they saw two people shoot at a house in the 400 block of West State Street before entering a dark SUV and fleeing the area, the release states.

North Aurora police are asking anyone with information or any video evidence related to the shooting to contact the Investigations Division at (630) 897-8705 ext. 758. Callers can provide anonymous tips to police, the release states.
