Inflation Busting Pricing Everyday.

Two Aurora Resale Stores are by no means following the national trends and the benefit are local shoppers in Aurora.

If you’ve never been to Wayside Cross Ministries resale stores now is the time to stop by. The Hope Chest Resale Store located at 36 N Lincoln Ave or Sweet Charity Resale Store at 3450 Mongomery Rd #11, both located in Aurora are the place to go to help stretch your dollar in this ever inflating economy. Rose Summerville, the manager of both the Hope Chest and Sweet Charity Resale Stores told me, “We’ve just reduced all pricing across the board.” “Our furniture is really reasonably priced and we have a great selection located at the back of the store,” Rose added. She understands that everyone is struggling in this economy to make ends meet and the price reduction will help more people to save money. “Our prices are so low, where can you buy a woman’s top for $3.99 these days?”

Rose also let me know that in additional to their already low prices they have special discounts almost every day, it varies from day to day. The day of our interview it was 20% off all toys. That Tuesday is senior discount day and everything is 15% off for seniors. In addition to that, every other weekend on Friday and Saturday they have a blowout sale! Now, that’s worth a trip.

The store sells almost anything you would need, from designer and gently used clothing which are neatly displayed on racks to furniture. There are sections with jewelry and accessories, small kitchen appliances, stereos, home decor, TVs, pool items, records, DVDs and CDs, electronics, housewares, sport equipment, shoes, vintage clothing and antiques.

Customers love to shop at the Hope Chest, Trixie said, “The Hope Chest Resale Shop is one of my favorite places to shop in Aurora.” The store is huge and has something for everyone. For many customers this is their first stop in shopping, Laviana stated that, “This resale store is better than some retail stores. I always shop here and its sister store (Sweet Charity) before looking elsewhere.”

All purchased benefit the residential recovery programs for for the broken and hurting at Wayside Cross Ministries. So not only are you saving money by shopping there, you are helping to fund Wayside Cross’s many ministries. Stop in and start saving!

Both Sweet Charity and Hope Chest Resales are worth the trip.
