'Major Fire' Rips Through McDonald's In Aurora: Cops
Police say traffic is shut down in both directions on 31st Street near the scene of the fire.
AURORA, IL --- Aurora firefighters battled what police called a "major fire" at the McDonald's located at 1023 North Lake Street. Motorists were advised to avoid Route 31 between Indian Trail and Illinois Avenue as traffic is shut down in both directions.
As of 5:40 p.m., Aurora Fire Department posted an update on Facebook saying that all companies were operating in "defensive mode" in an attempt to isolate the blaze.
