Man, 60, Burglarized Pancake House In Aurora: Cops
Police say the man burglarized a pancake house and a Mexican restaurant in the same day.

AURORA, IL --- A 60-year-old man has been charged with burglarizing a pancake house and a restaurant in Aurora, according to police. Jerry R. Miller Jr., of the 200 block of E. Galena Blvd., was allegedly caught in the midst of a burglary at La Quinta de los Reyes just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. He is also accused of burglarizing Aurora Pancake House earlier that same day.
Police say the owner of La Quinta de los Reyes alerted police and began heading to the restaurant after receiving a notification that the restaurant's alarm had been triggered. Miller was reportedly exiting the restaurant when the owner arrived and helped police get him into custody.
According to Aurora police, one of the responding officers recognized Miller from a surveillance video of a burglary that had taken place at Aurora Pancake House at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday. Miller was charged with two felony counts of burglary in connection with the incidents.

He is currently being held in Kane County Jail on $75,000 bond.
