Police Identify Aurora Man Killed Wednesday In Hit-And-Run
A 55-year-old man died Wednesday night after being hit by two cars, according to Aurora police, who are searching for one of the drivers.
AURORA, IL — A 55-year-old Aurora man died Wednesday night after being hit by two cars on the city's east side, according to police. Aurora police on Friday identified the man as Tracy Holland, who lived in the 1000 block of Pheasant Run Lane.
Police and paramedics were called just before 10 p.m. after people reported a man had been hit on Ogden Avenue just west of Long Grove Drive. Paramedics tried to save the Holland's live, but he was pronounced dead on Ogden Avenue, police said.
The driver of one vehicle pulled off the road and waited to speak with officers about the crash, but the driver of the second vehicle did not stop, according to police. Officers said Friday they are still working to identify the driver of the second vehicle.

The Aurora Police Department’s Traffic Division investigated the crash and used drones to create a 3D map of the area, police said. Police said the investigation is ongoing and are asking residents to call the Traffic Division at (630) 256-5330 with information about the crash or the driver who fled the scene.
