Man Stabbed At Aurora Business: Police
A 26-year-old from Montgomery is charged with attempted murder, according to police.
AURORA, IL — A stabbing Friday night at an Aurora business put one man in the hospital and another in custody, according to police.
Multiple people were inside a liquor establishment in the 100 block of West Downer Place when the stabbing occurred shortly before 8 p.m., according to police. A 34-year-old Montgomery man was taken to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition, police said Sunday.
Patrick Lerette, 26, also of Montgomery, was found outside the business, identified by witnesses as the offender and arrested, according to police, who said they also recovered a knife at the scene.

Lerette is charged with attempted murder and three counts of aggravated battery, police said. He is scheduled to appear Sunday in bond court.
