AURORA, IL — A Dalton man who had a gun in his work locker has been charged with threatening to shoot a coworker at his job in Aurora, police say. David Cox, of the 14000 block of Ingleside, Dalton, is accused of telling his coworker, "I'm going to pull a [pistol] on you" Wednesday, according to Aurora Police Department spokesperson Sgt. Bill Rowley.

In a press release, Aurora police said they began an investigation after other employees told managers that Cox had a gun and had threatened another employee at his workplace, Glanbia Performance Nutrition, 600 Commerce Ave.

When police got to the scene, supervisors told them of the threat Cox allegedly made to the employee. Another worker told police that they saw Cox with a fanny pack that they believed had a gun inside.
