Mom May Have Abducted 4-Year-Old Daughter: Aurora Police
Police say he has refused to return the four-year-old to her legal guardians for nearly a week.

AURORA, IL -- Police in Aurora are asking for the public's help locating a mother who may have abducted 4-year-old Shana M. Brown from the Aurora family who has custody of her. Shana's biological mother, Benetta Brown, had been allowed visitation with Shana on March 15, but police say she has refused to return the child to her legal guardians since then.

According to authorities, Benetta Brown may be staying near 79th and Ashland in Chicago. At press time, there were no active warrants for Brown's arrest.
