For one night only, NF Hope Concert returns to the greater Chicago area with an impressive collection of talent on Sunday, June 25 at 3 p.m. at The VENUE, 21 S. Broadway Ave, Aurora. Since the inaugural Las Vegas event in 2011, NF Hope Concerts have raised more than $1.5 million for Neurofibromatosis (NF) research and advocacy and now presents in three cities – Las Vegas, New York City and Chicago.

This year, NF Hope Concert Co-Founder Jeff Leibow (Broadway’s Production of Jersey Boys), Daniel Tatar (This Is Us, Grey’s Anatomy, The Company Men), Lorenzo Rush Jr. (Porchlight Music Theatre, Court Theatre, Chicago PD and Chicago Fire) and Radius Vocal Group will perform, with more artists to be announced in the coming weeks.

The NF Hope Concert brings together incredible local talent and national headliners for events to support a wonderful cause. Co-founder Jeff Leibow landed in Las Vegas in 2008 as one of the stars in the Tony Award-Winning musical, “Jersey Boys.” Before that, he worked in professional theaters all over the country garnishing award nominations for many of his performances. Immediately after his arrival in Vegas, he made giving back to the community a priority, involving himself with every charity event and benefit concert he could fit into his schedule.

In 2009, his daughter became his top priority as did raising awareness for NF, the disorder she is afflicted with. He and his wife Melody founded the annual NF Hope Concerts in 2011 and in 2014, after more than seven years and 2,700 performances in “Jersey Boys,” Leibow stepped down to dedicate more of his time to the cause that means so much to him and his family.

In a silent auction that afternoon, tickets to the Marriott Theatre, a household membership to the Lincoln Park Zoo, meals at some of Chicago’s best restaurants, admission to Hurricane Harbor and much more will be auctioned off. Registration for the auction is now available online at nfhopechi23.givesmart.com. Online bidding begins June 19 at noon. The day of the concert, the theater will be open at 1:30 p.m. to view auction items in person.
