Paramount's Meyer Ballroom Earns Best Of Weddings Award

AURORA, IL — Paramount Theatre's Meyer Ballroom has been recognized as one of the top wedding vendors in the country by The Knot.

It's the sixth time the downtown Aurora space has been awarded The Knot Best of Weddings Award by the wedding planning and registry brand. Awards are given out yearly, and only 5 percent of venues in the United States make the cut, according to a news release from Paramount Theatre.

"Exceptional" venues that have earned four or more The Knot Best of Weddings awards — Meyer Ballroom being one of them — are inducted into the brand's Weddings Hall of Fame.

"We are thrilled that so many brides, grooms and their families think Paramount's Meyer Ballroom is the ideal venue to host the most important day in their lives," Jennifer Hahn, special events director, said in a statement. "We take immense pride in making their special day perfect, and we’ll do whatever it takes to ensure that. We look forward to serving more couples in the near future as weddings have returned to lovely celebrations exactly how the couple envisioned!"

Notable features of Meyer Ballroom include floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the Fox River and Paramount Theatre. The space can accommodate up to 220 guests.

Standard packages include a six-hour reception — including five hours of an open bar — a champagne toast and personal cocktail service for the head table. Considered a venue for a "first-class wedding," couples can choose between indoor and outdoor ceremony options and have access to valet parking, various tables, linens, centerpieces, flat-screen TVs and exclusive caterers, among other things.

By attending, each wedding guest is also given a complimentary ticket to an upcoming Broadway Series production at Paramount Theatre.
