He later returned for parts of the show and the final bow, but the band canceled the next night's performance while they assess his health and upcoming tour dates.

Decision on Aurora recall referendum expected Monday (dailyherald.com) — Aurora's electoral board will decide Monday whether two recall referendum questions targeting the mayor and at-large aldermen make the November ballot, a move that could reshape how residents remove local officials. Petition counts, signature thresholds, and constitutional questions are all on the table as the board meets at 8:30 a.m. in City Hall's Council Chambers.

(chicagotribune.com) — Aurora is among several suburbs that passed measures limiting use of municipal property for federal immigration enforcement, part of a broader response to Operation Midway Blitz. Officials and experts remain divided on whether these ICE-free policies truly protect residents or mainly serve as symbolic statements, while Illinois pursues a separate legal challenge against federal actions.
