Plumbers Local 130 Endorse Linda Chapa LaVia for Mayor of Aurora

Aurora, IL – Plumbers Local 130 endorsed Linda Chapa LaVia for Mayor of Aurora Local Union 130 with over 6,000 members, is one of the largest straight-line plumbing locals in the United Association (UA) International Union.

“Plumbers Local 130 is proud to add our name to the growing list of labor unions supporting Linda Chapa LaVia for Mayor of Aurora. We support her because of her commitment to fight on behalf of working families," said Business Manager, James F. Coyne.

Whether it was during my time as an officer in the Army, my time as a business owner or as a State Representative, I have been blessed to have held leadership roles that afforded me the opportunity improve and protect the quality of life for our communities. Chapa LaVia is a lifelong resident of Aurora, a veteran of the U.S. Army and was first elected to the Illinois House in 2002. While serving in the House she has been a leader on education issues, has stood up for veterans, and has delivered millions of dollars to Aurora helping to improve the quality of life for its residents.
