Shooting Damages Home In Aurora: Cops

Police say no one was injured in the shooting.

AURORA, IL --- Aurora police are looking for information on a shooting that damaged a home on the city's east side. The incident took place Tuesday in the 900 block of Claim Street, according to a post by Aurora Police Department on Facebook.

Police say the shots were fired just before 9 p.m. and that witnesses reported seeing a "taller, heavyset, hooded subject of unknown gender" fleeing eastbound on Claim. No further description was available.

No injuries were reported in the shooting, but authorities are asking anyone with info to call Aurora Police Department at 630-256-5500 or Aurora Crime Stoppers at 630-892-1000.
