Police say the woman stole meat and vitamins before dragging the grocery store employee with her car.

AURORA, IL — A Montgomery woman has been charged with dragging an Aurora grocery store employee with her car after stealing meat and vitamins, according to police. Lori R. Federman, 52, of the 100 block of Keck Ave., turned herself in on April 18 after a warrant was issued for her arrest in the February incident.
Police say Federman was confronted by an employee after she allegedly stole items including meat and vitamins from a grocery store in the 1900 block of Galena Blvd. Federman then fled to her car, according to police, and was chased by the employee.
Once Federman got into her car, she allegedly grabbed the employee by the collar, pulling her partially into the car, and began driving away. The employee got away and only sustained minor injuries, police say.
