Shots Fired In Road Rage Incident In Aurora: Police
Police say one driver followed another and shot at the car "multiple times."

AURORA, IL — Police in Aurora are trying to find a vehicle that was involved in an apparent road rage incident that ended in multiple shots fired into a car Tuesday. The shooting took place just before midnight near the intersection of Hankes Ave. and Church Rd., according to police.
Police say a tan Buick sedan and a Pontiac Grand Prix were driving east on Indian Tr. near High St. when the driver of the Grand Prix tried to change lanes to make a southbound turn. The victim, an 18-year-old man from Aurora, told police the driver of the Buick began speeding up to prevent him from changing lanes.
The teen then got behind the Buick and both cars turned south onHigh St., police say. The victim told police the driver of the Buick pulled off to the shoulder shortly after they turned and then began to follow him.

According to police, the Buick kept following the Pontiac when it turned eastbound on Hankes. The driver of the Buick then fired "multiple shots" at the other car near Church St., hitting the vehicle repeatedly.
Police say neither the driver of the Pontiac nor his passengers, an 18-year-old man and 43-year-old woman, was hit by the gunfire.
