Shots Fired Under Investigation In Aurora: Cops

No one was injured, but police in Aurora are asking for witnesses to come forward.

AURORA, IL --- Aurora police have reached out to the public to find witnesses to a shooting that took place Monday afternoon near the intersection of Grove and Union Streets. Police are looking for more information, but they say nothing was hit by the gunfire, according to a post on social media.

Police say the shooting took place at approximately 12:20 p.m. Witnesses told police that they saw a "group of several people" who were walking near the scene. A dark-colored SUV may also be linked to the shooting, according to police.
