Spring Cleaning In Aurora: Free Yard Waste Collection Planned
Aurora residents have two weeks to dispose of garbage from the yard without needing waste stickers.
AURORA, IL — Spring cleaning is underway in Aurora, meaning residents have two weeks to dispose of garbage from the yard without waste stickers.
The city's free spring yard waste collection began Monday and continues through April 12. During this time, locals can place 30-gallon recyclable paper bags at the curb to be picked up with the regular trash collection. Bags' weight can't exceed 60 pounds, officials said.
Yard waste mixed with garbage or any yard waste in a plastic bag or garbage can will not be picked up, according to officials.
