Structure Fire On LaSalle Street Causes Temporary Street Closures: PD

AURORA, IL — A structure in the 200 block of LaSalle Street in Aurora caught on fire Wednesday morning, police said.

As a result, the roadway is closed between Clark and Washington Streets while police and firefighters tend to the fire, officials said in an alert posted on Facebook at 10:46 a.m.

Police are asking drivers to use alternate routes while the street is closed.
