Subway Robbed At Gunpoint In Aurora: Cops
The robber showed what appeared to be a handgun and then left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

AURORA, IL --- Aurora police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a Subway restaurant Thursday morning. The robbery took place just after 7 a.m. at the store located in the 2300 block of S. Eola Road.
The suspect reportedly came into the restaurant and tried to get the only employee on duty, a 61-year-old man, to come with him into the bathroom by claiming it was not functioning properly. The victim refused to go with the suspect, who then showed what police say appeared to be a handgun.
The employee gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.
