Teen Stabbed At Fiestas Patrias Festival In Aurora
Police described the incident as part of an "isolated gang fight."

AURORA, IL — A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the back at Aurora's Fiestas Patrias festival Sunday in what police are calling an "isolated gang fight."
The fight broke out around 8 p.m., according to Aurora Police Department spokesperson Paris Lewbel. Police officers were able to "quickly disperse the crowd" and respond to the incident, Lewbel said.
Another juvenile was taken into custody in connection with the stabbing. The teen was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
