AURORA, IL — Another restaurant will soon call Route 59 in Aurora home. Texas Roadhouse is moving from Naperville and claiming the lot of a former Sweet Tomatoes restaurant, according to city officials.

The steakhouse, specializing in Texan and Southwestern cuisine, will occupy the lot at 986 N. Route 59. Previous occupant Sweet Tomatoes, which was known for its all-you-can-eat buffets, closed in October 2016 after parent company Garden Fresh Restaurant Corporation filed for bankruptcy in a plan to restructure, Patch reported.

Once open, the Aurora location will replace the one in Naperville, located off North Aurora Road at 2856 Patriots Lane. Once empty, the building, constructed in 2006, will be for sale for $5 million, the Chicago Tribune reported.
