AURORA, IL — Thirty students from Aurora Central Catholic High School are gearing up for their upcoming production of Thorton Wilder's famed play "Our Town." On Nov. 5 and 6, audiences can experience the three-act play about a community in a small town of New Hampshire.

Originally published in 1938, the play tells the story of the everyday lives of citizens in fictional Grover's Corners between 1901 and 1913. Audiences will follow the lives of the Gibb and Webb families through the play's three acts: "Daily Life," "Love and Marriage" and "Death and Eternity."

Wilder's play won a Pulitzer Prize for drama the year it was written and remains one of his best-known works.
