Ogden, Farnsworth Intersection Reopens After Traffic Signal Work: PD

AURORA, IL — Westbound Ogden Avenue at the intersection with Farnsworth Avenue is functioning properly after work on a traffic signal post, officials said.

Contractors were working on replacing the post, leading to the signals at the intersection to begin flashing four ways, according to an alert posted on Facebook around 10:30 a.m.

Police officers and Aurora Emergency Management crews were redirecting traffic to keep delays at a minimum, police said.

The intersection reopened as of 11:15 a.m.
