Train Crashes Into Car, Skips Stop In Aurora: Metra

Metra train #1260 is the next scheduled to make all scheduled stops to Chicago's Union Station.

AURORA, IL — A Metra train crashed into a car Thursday morning, officials said, forcing a following train to skip an Aurora stop.

Train #1258 was scheduled to depart the Aurora BNSF station at 12:04 p.m. but ceased operating due to an earlier train crashing, according to Metra. Officials did not say where the crash occurred and if anyone was injured.

The following train, #1260, is the next scheduled to make all scheduled stops to Chicago’s Union Station.
