Truck Driver Hospitalized After Indian Trail Road Rollover Crash: APD

The truck rolled over after it was hit by a 2000 Ford Ranger that had lost control on wet pavement, police said.

AURORA, IL — The truck driver involved in the rollover crash Tuesday morning on Indian Trail Road was hospitalized with minor injuries, police told Patch.

The crash happened around 10:08 a.m. after a 2000 Ford Ranger, traveling south on Highland Avenue toward Indian Trail Road, lost control on wet pavement and hit a box truck that was driving west on Indian Trail, according to police spokesperson Joseph Howe.

The force of the collision sent the truck rolling onto its side, Howe said.

The Ford was driven by a 17-year-old Aurora boy. Howe said no other injuries were reported in the crash.

Indian Trail was shut down to traffic between Highland Avenue to Pennsylvania Avenue until about 2 p.m. as a result of the incident, Patch reported.
