The Venue To Celebrate St. Patrick's Day With Irish Band

The Irish Mystics will perform covers of traditional Irish music and rockers, spanning bands like The Clancy Brothers to Thin Lizzy.

AURORA, IL — The Venue will celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a benefit concert featuring The Irish Mystics.

The Irish Mystics formed during the pandemic to raise funds for The Venue, which live-streamed shows at the time. Dave Sean Glynn, a veteran Irish singer-songwriter and guitarist, heads the group, whose other members include Rich Van Ham on harmonica, James "Chevy" Chevalier on bass, Wes Carr on fiddle and mandolin, and Mark Van Ham on drums.

Glynn, who serves as the chair of the Fox Valley Music Foundation, the nonprofit that runs The Venue, said the group will perform covers of both traditional Irish music and rockers, spanning bands like The Clancy Brothers to Thin Lizzy.
