Video Shows Shots Fired From Car At Aurora Housing Authority

Police released footage of the Nov. 21 shooting in the hopes of finding the shooter.

AURORA, IL --- Aurora police have released additional video of a shooting that took place at the Aurora Housing Authority office in late November in the hopes of tracking down the shooter. No one was injured in the shooting, but police say a round went through the building and into a chair in an office.

About 40 seconds into the video, you can see a car pull up in the 1200 block of Pearl Street and shots being fired from the vehicle. Based on the video footage, police believe the vehicle to be a silver- or light-colored Ford Fusion or Nissan Altima with possible tinted windows and a missing passenger's hub cap on the passenger's side.

After the shots were fired, police say the car fled south on Pearl before turning eastward on Sherman. Police also note that the video's time stamp is off by an hour.
