Wanted Gang Member Arrested at Miami Airport: Police

The Aurora man faces unlawful delivery of a controlled substance charges.

A 23-year-old Aurora man who was wanted by authorities for his alleged criminal involvement in the Latin Kings street gang was arrested Tuesday at the Miami Airport.

Alvaro Robledo, of the 500 block of Hoyles, was coming back from a vacation in the Dominican Republic when he was taken into custody, police said. He faces charges of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a church.

He is the 15th person taken into custody in connection with an investigation, which was conducted by Aurora Police, the FBI, and the Kane County State's Attorney. A total of 96 felony charges were filed against 16 men, including Robledo, all of whom are alleged members of the Latin Kings street gang; as a result of the investigation dubbed “Operation Tri-Lambs," according to an Aurora Police Department press release.

Police are continuing to search for the final suspect wanted in connection with the Operation Tri-Lambs investigation.

Leonel A. Martinez, 29, whose last known address is in the 2400 block of Devonshire Court in Aurora, is charged with eight counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school.

Martinez is described as 6-feet tall, 230 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his chest, left arm and right wrist.
