Watch Cop Save Skunk With Cup Stuck On Its Nose: Video

See what happens when a cop puts himself in the line of "fire" to help an angry skunk.

AURORA, IL — An angry skunk can be a pretty dangerous thing, but one Aurora police officer put himself in the line of ... fire ... so to speak, to save a skunk that was in distress. Around 5:20 a.m. on Sept. 11, Aurora police received a call about a skunk with its head stuck in a cup at a laundromat in the 600 block of S. Broadway. Officer Derrick Hight rushed to the scene and sprang into action.

In the video, you can see Hight cautiously approach the skunk and try to negotiate with it for a bit. Meanwhile, the skunk, unable to see, runs around in panicked circles.

Hight then cautiously approaches the skunk and snatches the cup from off of its nose. Does Hight get sprayed by the skunk? You'll have to watch the video to find out.
