Woman's Car Shot From Behind In Aurora: Cops

The victim told police a Cadillac SUV pulled up behind her and started shooting.

AURORA, IL --- Police in Aurora are investigating a shooting in which a woman's car was targeted by the person driving behind her. The shooting took place Wednesday in the intersection of Fourth Street and Weston Avenue.

The woman a 41-year-old from Aurora, told police she was driving north on Fourth Street just before 10 p.m. when an older model, white Cadillac SUV pulled up behind her. Police say someone in the SUV "fired several rounds" at the woman's car and hit the vehicle "more than once" before fleeing east on Weston.

No one was injured during the shooting, according to police.
